1955 Chrysler New Yorker Hard Top Coupe,  C-68, one of 5777 built not molested rustfree california low mileage car with orig. 1955 331 CUI HEMI Engine

Modifications:
Body:
Dechroming, approx. 200 “Inspection”-holes, Aluminum bumper-brackets, (bumpers now removed) lexan door- and quarter- windows , to lower total weight, Imperial front mask to get the 300-Look

Electrical:
12V conversion, electr. fan, orig.gauges and switches (1956 Imperial)
plus new racing gauges and target switches, GM alternator, european halogen headlights metric Speedometer (km/h), heater, wiper, emergency flasher etc work well

Suspension:
3” lowered, custom springs (1,5 times harder than orig.) gas-shox, support springs at rear

Steering:
Conversion to manual steering (1955 Dodge), orig. steering wheel for that ´50s NASCAR-look

331cui w/ 020 overbore, std. bearings, ported heads, solid lifters w/ adjustable rockers, 392 valves MSD ignition, Chrysler 300 dual intake w/ 2 x 390cfm Holleys, forced induction (ram) airfilter

Safety-/Racing Issues:
2 harnesses, 2 window nets, 2 fire extinguishers, 2 racing seats,  outside kill sitch, full chrom-moly- roll-cage

Spare Parts:
All removed original parts (new upholstery etc) go with the car , further I have a 1955 and a 1956 Imperial for even more parts, matter of negotiation

Street legal, german registration and inspection (to be renewed),  topspeed in the 250 km/h  (150 mph) area, depending what diameter tires you gonna use, approx 380 HP @ 5500 rpm, 3200 lb, runs on any gas

Car was driven 2005 from Veracruz to Tuxtla, raced back to Laredo and driven to Houston with no breakdown. Was driven and raced since with no problem at all, has about 10000 mls on the clock (racing / cruising 50 : 50)
