1965 Mustang GT350R

Once-in-a-lifetime chance to own both a spectacular racecar and a piece of racing history. Built to an exacting technical and mechanical spec by a passionate lifelong Shelby collector, this car is truly one of a kind.

Fabricated from an original, scrapyard-rescued 1965 Mustang Fastback shell over a two-year period. Complete nut & bolt rebuild.

Competed in the grueling 7-day, 2000 mile La Carrera Panamericana in 2007 with zero mechanical issues, finishing an impressive 3rd in Historic C, and 9th overall. Has since been stored indoors, and only lightly driven. Featured in the documentary film “Rebirth of a Legend” about the 2007 La Carrera event.

CA DMV Registered. Built for the track, but makes a great Sunday driver. Ready to go to a new home in the hands of someone that will take it out and let it do what it was built to do - run. Fast.

2000 miles since build completed - 1900 of those at speed through Mexico. Currently set up as road rally car, but ready for the track. Signed by Bob Bondurant.

1966 Sunbeam Tiger Race Car

In 2006 the car received full bare metal rotisserie restoration and has new custom made steel floors, transmission tunnel and extensive reinforcements  (every reinforcement listed in the CAT shop notes and online) to stiffen  the chassis, cross member and suspension. Car is extremely fast and handles great. This is a real Tiger VIN # B382000992.

In 2009 I started to convert the car to run the LCP: windshield and top installed, cage added and lights installed.  Then I committed to driving another car and the project stalled.  In 2010, I entered it in the British Extravaganza at Buttonwillow and received a VARA Log Book.  The car needs to be sorted (it developed an overheating problem which I have not taken the time to resolve) and finished to LCP specs.  Once done, it is so unique that it should be immediately accepted in LCP and dominate the Mustangs and Falcons.

Bag O Nails, 1966 Mustang GT 350 R

Bag O Nails is a 1966 Mustang GT 350 R clone maintained by Mustang Guru Todd Landon with the intention of winning the Historic class on La Carrera and other events.

The car was built from a bare shell in 2007 utilising the very best of everything, and with the possibility of reverting to FIA homologation spec after the event.

This car is simply the best prepared, fastest (420BHP) and most reliable Historic C Mustang alive, and is now for sale to a serious competitor.

A lot of work has been done (weight loss operation, ....) to bring it to the highest standards.

Results:
2007: La Carrera Panamericana : 6th overall and 2nd in Historic C
2008: La Carrera Panamericana: 6th overall and 1st in Historic C
2010: Chihuahua Express: 5th overall and 1st in Historic C
Pikes peak: 2nd in Historic (just beyond Doug Mockett)
La Carrera Panamericana: 4 times on the daily podium with at the end the 4th place in Historic C. Despite the very high level of competition this year, most of the time we finished in the top 15 overall
