Gerie has raced the Pan Am eight times (1999-2006). In
2002, his '64 Chevy II Nova "Durango Deuce" finished first in Historic C and eighth overall. Between
Carreras, he races a 1993 Camaro ITE with SCCA and NASA. He is also a High Performance
Driving (HPDE) Instructor with NASA. When not racing and working for La
Carrera, Gerie is the Executive Director of the San Mateo Teachers’ Association
in San Mateo, California. He and his wife Diane
live in Half Moon Bay, which is about 30 miles south
of San Francisco on the coast.
